plus six from drag specialties worked for my throttle cables, 50" on my brake line, my clutch was +six as well, but is extremely tight, almost to the point of not working, go at least +8 on the clutch...........I did 16" narrow glide apes on 2 inch risers on an 05 fxdc.

Dude, removing the tank is a completely unnecessary step. At best, all you had to do was raise the front of it. If you have/had a 2" tank lift installed already that would have been a non-issue.

I tried sliding the tank back but standing on the left side I didn't realize I was scratching the front head cover with the right stock hose clamp on the fuel crossover so I would recommend wrapping that with duct tape before sliding the tank back. It just made it alot easier to remove the tank so I was'nt banging the tank the whole time I was working the cables and made it easier running the new throttle and idle. Removing the tank was a fairly easy task after I read the service manual.
