i might not have talent myself , but at least i recognize it when i see it

do you think you could give a short explanation of how you did the skulls ? not looking for a tutorial or anything

edit:
hehheh just googled 'how to airbrush skulls' and there's a bunch of tutorials . i know if i tried it would turn out like crap , but it's neat to see how it's done

That's pretty much what I did. There are several tutorials on youtube. It's really not that difficult if you have some Idea of how to do the shading and highlites. I bought a few stencils to use as guides then did all the shading. If you look at my other thread on the preview pics, there are some shots of what it looked like after you spray the stencil. Most of the medium sized skulls are actually the same skull stencil turned all different ways and flipped over. After doing so many you they start to be sort of second nature. I did the tank last and the forward facing skulls are mostly freehaded since I didn't one that looked like that. Just used some curved stencils to get the hard edges. If you are interested in trying it PM me and I can point to a good place to get supplies.

I've been wanting to try my hand at painting... think you just gave me the last bit of reinforcement I needed. I would never know that wasn't a pro spray job.

Ha ha, well I didn't have any experience with the airbrush unless you count the photoshop airbrush. So the youtube tutorials helpful learning that. Let me know and I'll show you where to find everything you need.

That is a bad *** paint job. Man I wish I had that kind of talent, unfortunately I don't. You need to paint bikes on the side and let other people have some of that sweet *** airbrush on their bikes!!!
