Default Fat bob with Apes. I'm 5.7.Some advice?

I'm a spanish biker with a FXDF 2009.

I saw some pics with a Apes in a Fat Bob, but with my 5.7 height I don't know if my back could drive a long trip, I need some advice.

Thanks

What size were you thinkin about? I'm about the same height and I just went from 16in apes down to 13in. The 16's looked cool but were too much on the back and shoulders on long trips.

I'm 5'10 and I have some 13.5 inch apes and I am happy as hell I didn't go any bigger. These are the perfect height.

You could do 12.5" or 14" no problem. My buddy is the same height as you and has 16" apes.

Size is very subjective. What I like you may not.

Sit on your bike and throw your hands out. Let them settle where they are comfortable. Measure from hands to riser. That is the size handlebar you would be comfortable with.

Man if you got a little money to spend check out BR custom bars. I ordered a set for my 10' fatty and I'm 5'6" and the 16" apes with a one inch riser, are kickass. Will put picks up when bike is all done.
