Phrog nailed the shift points. Mine are right there with his.

I will say that I will drop into 6th if I'm on the highway above 65. If you listen to the engine and exhaust the bike seems quite happy to go 70 or better in 5th gear, but bumping up to 6th will signifigantly increase your fuel mileage. I'm talking like, 150ish to the tank cruising in 5th to well over 170ish to a tank cruising in 6th. May not seem like much of a difference until your stuck on the WV turnpike with the gas stations 10 miles apart!

To each his own. Enjoy your bike. Don't wave to the guys on Vespas.

I just had my throttle cables adjusted for the first time when we put the taller apes on last Sunday and it feels weird but good now with all the slack taken out. Mine had quite a bit of play ever since I bought it (not a 1/4 of a turn like chidrock though) but I guess I just got used to it. My friend that was helping me put the bars on said he doesn't like his to have any play or just a tiny bit so he adjusted it like his and I am starting to like the difference now.
