SANLYN: Those bags are money! I also have a Fat Bob and want bags. Where did you pick yours up? What type of hardware did you need? I already have a Harley backrest and luggage rack. Do I need to make any modfications to turn signals, etc.? They sure look nice dude.

I don't care about a hole in the flap, that would be easy to fix. I would think if the levers come up and hit the inside of the lid then it seems like the bags could come loose, or even fall off the bike.... Thanks for any advice you might have.

That's what I'm saying! At least that's what happened to mine. Yes, eventually the lever was starting to hit the inside of the lid, but yes, still locked down. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why that was happening. The bags look good on the bike for sure, but didn't like how mine were locking down, so I offed them! Actually, I'm more happy with the rigid mount HD bags that are lockable with one turn of the key. A little more storage than the LP. Don't get me wrong, I like the LP.

www.LeatherneckJims.com Has some of the best bags on the market. I believe they are made by US Saddlebags out of Stockton Ca.

I always wondered why more people didn't rave about this guy. I myself have not seen his stuff up close, but if its what he says it is, they seem like one heck of a bargain for some very thick and heavy duty bags.

Default American Eagle Saddlebags

I have on 04 FXDWG with the easy brackets. The saddle bags are made by American Eagle Leatherworks. They are well made and are the largest ones I have found. Easy to pack a weeks worthof clothes and head out with them.

Do you have any pictures of the bags/bike?
