Angry Mini floor boards from 2 orange harley

Just a heads up on the mini floor boards. Bought a set and put them on and really liked them. Went on a trip this past weekend and lost one of the rubber inserts somewhere on the interstate. This is with only a few hundred on them. Anyway called them and asked if I could buy just the rubber insert. Guy acts like I am retarted and says you have to buy the whole thing. Explained that I had only a few hundred on them and same story. He really was a *hit about it. SO if you are using these floor boards you might want to check to make sure the glue is holding on the rubber inserts. Part number for the floor board I have are 27-0669.

That is not a bad idea. Not sure I could cut a piece of floorboard well enough to look good but that is a good idea.

The kid was a complete jack @ss. If I could of pulled him through the phone I would of put the floorboards where the sun does not shine !

I suppose they are getting them manufactured offshore. Otherwise, that doesn't make sense that you can't buy the mat. Funny thing, Harley sells replacements, I suppose this company thinks the mat won't wear out!

BTW, are these floorboards aluminum or steel? I was toying with the idea of making some from aluminum.

That is a good idea. Second suggestion along those lines and the more I think about it it is a good idea. Just have to have patience and cut them nice and smooth.
