I know there are a lot of threats regarding installing floorboards on Dynas, but I haven't seen anything regarding new Street Bobs with forward controls.

Does anyone know if you can install boards when you already have the fwd controls? If so... any specific type of boards you would recommend?

Check the web site for V-TWIN Manufacturing. They have a new complete kit (just like the one HD used to make). It will list the models it will fit. Anything can be put on anything with enough determination and know-how.

 

There are some available for about $80 at www.2orangeharleys.com that mount in the same way as the stock pegs. They are fully adjustable and should work with forward controls. I'm sure they aren't as robust as the $400 ones but I don't think you'll be standing up on forwards anyway.

The Dr Boots are aweful they mount the the same way as factory pegs and are adjustable in angle. I sold 2 sets and got both sets returned, they would not stay tight on the angle adjustment, it was in the casting between the peg mount and board that was sloppy.

 

Interesting. I have not had this experience but this good to know before I sell any more. Take note folks.
