Default Valve Seals

Well all I always check my oil and ever since my 2500 miles service I noticed that my oil was going somewhere but it didnt seem like I was burning it per say.
I asked the dealer and they told me to bring it in. Today they got to look at it and called me to advise that they would be tearing her down to replace them.
Just seems like this shouldnt happen and that even though HD is aware of it, it should be a recall.
I will see how it works out and let ya know.

Odd that it wasn't smoking at all. That's usually a sure sign of bad valve seals.

I got my bike back on Wednesday night. They replaced my seals and the bike runs so much better and sounds healthier for some reason.
Hopefully it will no longer use oil.
So if you notice tyour using oil, more than normal may want to check this out. Also I wasnt blowing smoke that was noticeable.
