It's a disease!
Well, I sold my 2005 low rider (that's pictured below) in July 2009, went a whole month and some change without a bike, looked at another HD and decided I wanted something fun so I bought Triumph Thruxton. Well, low and behold here we are 7 months later and I'm lookin at another Dyna! I must need my head examined.
To get to the point I have is this, in terms of lean angle they are pretty close b/w the Street Glide and the Street Bob. Has anybody ridden either one aggressively through the twisties? I'm tossed b/w the two, and still have to convince the wife, but I know myself and will probably end up back on a HD at some point but I want to be able to carve pretty good. I don't think I really want the XR1200 and haven't fallen in love w/ a V-Rod.

with the purchase of my lowrider, I have officially owned every chassis Harley sells... Heritage Softail, Sportster 1200R, Street Glide, V-Rod, and now the Dyna.
Dyna is way more fun around town than the Street Glide... Street Glide was more comfortable for long rides but still wan no slouch in the canyons... Sportster is fast and fun but is just too rough of a ride more than 50 miles (based on I'm a major old man at heart)... V-Rod was incredibly fun to launch from stoplight to stoplight but wasn't much better lean angle than the lowrider... Softail... long story

There is nothing a Street Glide can give me, that my Dyna currently can't. I can equip for touring in under 5 minutes, (if I'm slow) and I can strip her down for enjoying curvy asphalt in the same matter of time. Actually she's fine in any configuration, for doing anything I want.
You want a Dyna back in the stable.... just admit it and go with it..
