stock dunlops on my 08 fatbob close to 11,000miles and could get probably 2grand more or so but i'm switchin to an Avon 150 front and 200 rear so I can keep the factory tires as spares... On a side I've never done a single burnout on these not one... but thats the skinny on my dirty girl...

Dunlop K591(OEM) - 9200
SE180 - 2300 Replace because of a nail
SE180 - 7500 Probably should have been replaced 500 miles earlier
Pirelli Night Dragon 180/60-17 - 1700 So far and still lookin' good
Front:
Dunlop K591 (OEM) - 18200 Probably should have been replaced 1200 Miles earlier
Pirelli Night Dragon 100/90-19 - 2500 So far and still lookin' good
Rear:
Dunlop K591(OEM) - 9200

As mentioned, there are a lot of things that affect tire wear; road conditions, city vs. highway, hard acceleration/braking, engine braking and temperature are a few that come to mind.
Also the model of bike and it's stance make a difference. touring bikes often get 10-12K routinely out of a rear tire.
Wider/flatter tires will wear better because of a wider contact patch. Mine wear out in a 3" strip down the center, while the areas outside that still look like new.
