Default Stupid frickin pipes!!!

Ok, I did another post on pipes but now, again, I have changed my mind!

I am freaking out because I can't figure out what kind of pipes I want. I don't like vance and hines, I don't want them, I don't care if they are the best, they are not an option!

The pipes I do like are the bub side cutters, worried I will burn my leg. I had bassani's on a sporty and I loved those, they come in chrome and shiny black....I want flat black, not shiny have to clean it all the time flashy black! I like them shorter than most, I don't want them going back too far. I want the growl....not the squeel!

HELP! I don't know what to do!!!

My have to have list

Flat black (getting them powder coated is not an option)

growly, low, obnoxious loud!

Short (short shots from V&H short but will consider longer if they sound right)

I want quality, something that is going to last, won't crack or come apart and heat shields are a must!

Anyone's help will help me make up my mind, I don't want to make the wrong decision and get lame pipes. I've heard the side cutters and I love them, just worried about how they are made and the problems they could cause.

I want the side cutters, however are they going to burn my short legs? It's a reach for me to get to the forward controls...my stock pipes warm my ankles, am I going to burn my thigh? Am I going to be able to get to my oil? Am I going to be able to get the air cleaner I want or do I have to get something specific?

I have the side cutters ,no forwards,32 inseam, dont wear shorts when i ride,,and can lay my hand on heatshield for a sec while riding and not get burnt,,,When i tuned my bike ,,,i was feeling on the shield ,,,afraid i was going to run to lean and hot...

Just get what you want and stop over thinking =),,,,If the pipes dont work out,,, you can always change them out...I do the same thing all the time,,,,Take a deep breath,,,,,

There is one thing i had to do,,,,and it was change out my A/C ,,,,,the pipes ran right up along the bottom of the plastic stock A/C,,,,I was going to do it any way so no biggy,,,,

I heard samson had some serious problems with the heat shields warping off and the pipes becoming cracked?

dirtnap, I'm not going to pretend I even know what you mean by a/c....I want those pipes but I want my legs to keep looking normal more! I always wear jeans when I ride and sometimes chaps, but a lot of things burn through jeans!
