Sputhe engineering is a very small outfit.
The person that was handling customer srevice (Mrs. Sputhe) has recently passed on.
I had to wait for returns on my emails but they did get back to me and explained everything fully.
It's not that they don't provide customer service it's just slow when everyone is tied up in producing their fine product.

Usually the phone is the best way to get ahold of Sputhe, but I get the impression its a laid back mom and pop california culture there, very small outfit but friendly, honest, good technical expertise and product, kinda laid back attitude, however. They have been know to forget to throw instruction into the box, and then fax them to you when you call and ask about the right way to install their product. Some here may have a problem with it. They are so small they can be hard to get ahold of when busy, and when someone just takes the day off to surf... .

In the mean time I've followed all the alignment procedures, installed Ricor products front and rear and have been enjoying the improvements in handling and stability that this has made. Side comment; For being another small company, I can't say enough good things about Ricor's ability to provide me with customer service.
Both products get the job done , the real job that no shims or other mods can ever fix and that is to stop our engine from moving side to side.
I'm running a true track and think it is an awesome product , fast shipping and an exact perfect fit with all stainless hardware. made a big improvement with my bike. I'm sure sputhe is just as good , I just don't like having to mess around for someone to take my money lol

I installed True Track($305 on sale) and new Rubber (OEM) and my new-to-me-in-2011 '08 Fatbob with 6000 miles handles like a different bike!! No more squirley rear end in the turns and VERY solid at highway speeds!!!
I just wish that i had done a little more research cause i'm stuck with an OEM engine guard that doesn't work with the TT. Guess I'll have to get a Lindby!! :-))))

I'm gonna have to stop reading these forums, because they make me spend too much money.

Seriously, I've been trying to discover why my new WG doesn't handle as well as other Harleys I've had in the past. I'm a loner, so I don't talk much to other riders.

Now I'm beginning to understand the issue. I'll have to seriously look into these stabilizers. The Progressive 440 shocks helped a lot, but the bike could still use some improvement in this area.

Allen Sputhe is a "Dry-Lake, Salt Flats" type of guy. He spends time there testing and trying out products. My email went unanswered, but my telephone call was returned within a couple of days. We talked about his life with Harleys and running on the Salt Flats. He also explained things about the Stabilizer which I would not have known.

This "squirrelly twitch" the Dyna's have is an issue Harley Davidson has known about for some time. It's an engineering/accounting decision whether to add these or not. Basically the "bean counter" won. Like everything else, exhaust, shocks, forks, tires, transmissions, etc., the MoCo make things as cheaply as possibly and that will meet a safety standard. TRADE-OFFS is what manufacturing is all about.

True-Track makes a great product. I'm sure the T-Design of the front stabilizer has something to do with their trademark.

Sputhe Engineering also makes a good product. It's just slightly different and "for my purposes" is what I wanted.

I initially purchased the Sputhe kit. On the front I experienced hardware problems (bolt galled to the nut threads). The rear piece did not fit. I tried to get some help from Sputhe, and he was like, 'what do you expect me to do?'

Hmmmm, I ordered the Tru-Trak, and they patiently answered every question I had. The T-T front piece installed in minutes. The rear piece was a bear, but I called them up and the guy stayed on the phone with me and walked me through it.

The only thing positive I have to say about the Sputhe kit is he refunded most of my money after I returned his kit.

Oh yeah - what a world of difference with the T-T kit installed! Love it! With T-T and new suspension and Metzlers instead of the stock Dunlops the handles like a completely different bike.

I just noticed the other day that the Sporsters from sometime now have what the Tourings have now too, a mount that goes on top of the front cylinder head that bolts to the downtube. Could this be done to the dynas too???

The rubber mounted Dyna's already have one. It's located between the cylinders, hidden under the tank.
