Default tank badge

whats the best way to remove tank badges,i have black denim paint does that matter? will there be glue residue

I'd suggest a hair dryer since it doesn't get as hot as a heat gut but the heat gun will work too if you're careful.

To remove residue use wd-40

if it is just the harley davidson name on denim black those are just stuck on with tape i pulled mine off and pulled tape off then just wiped tank down-- cant tell it was there

i did the same thing with a red denim tank. but if you would like to save the badges i would suggest the hair dryer. when i pulled mine off, they came right of and the residue just peeled of without a mark. but the badges got bent a little when pulling them off, so i trashed them. you

hair dryer works wonders! also i would make sure and have a little bit of goo gone and some windex to clean the area after the removal.
