When I saw the 2010 with the black engine I actually picked the 09 - I like the contrast and I like the way it looks the the polished aluminum covers. The bike also had the aluminum smoothie rims - at first I wasn't too sure about them but they quickly grew on me and not many others have them. I put on a low rider dash and moved the indicators lights.

Thanks. I'm still up in the air about the bars. I like the look of both of them. We'll see how i feel when i put the drag bars on. I still have the switches/controls internally wired on the gimps, so i could swap out the bars in about 30-40 minutes (i left the long clutch cable on, but i'd have to change the throttle/idle cables again).

As for the brake pedal, it came with the floorboards. vtwin manufacturing floorboards.

[QUOTE=GoodKnight;6537964]I like the fact that the motor's not completely blacked out. Gives the bike some contrast.

Couldn't agree more. BTW, is that a variant of the PinTail Seat from Rocket Bobs? Looks it, but with the ribbed seating surface that he makes. If so, I wads actually considering having him make me one of the ribbed seats with gel, but as a 2up version that wraps the fender. Sort of like mine, but lower profile. How much did he charge for that seat you have (if you got it from him)?

Yes sir, it's a pintail from rocket bob's. He makes each one individual, so no 2 look exactly the same.

I honestly dont remember how much it was. bought it back when he first started making them. i think i was the 2nd person in north america to have one, and i know i was the first to have the gel inserts (which work great btw).

HD black forwards, 2" risers from Loner Industries, other than that she's stock (although my wife says I need to fix the exhaust. She likes the comfort of being able to hear me coming down the street.)

I just ride the hell outta it!

Digging the 2" riser extensions from Loner, got the 1" myself. Kinda thinking I should have gotten the 2"...
