I'd bet you could find a set on eBay . Also , Supertrap has a quiet series 2 into 1 system , that is really rather quiet .

Had to change the pipes after I bought it. Stock pipes were too much like a Honda. The Samson Legends a quiet enough, if I don't push it, to get me out of the neighborhood at 6am, but loud enough to remind me I own a Harley when I punch it. Everyone has different tastes.

I thought I had posted the number before so I just did a search and came up with this. 80418-06, I have no idea if they will fit a pre 06 bike or not.

I Like my SE SP mufflers... mellow with a just a touch of rumble smoothness.

I agree I used to like mine loud... don't mind others who are ear splitting... I just prefer less bark.

I will leave the exhaust stock on my next Harley. I wear ear plugs to save what's left of my hearing. As much as I kinda' dig the sound, the Rush slip-ons play on my ears and nerves... When that time comes, I will turn in my "Wannabe Badass Biker" merit Badge.

MZ....are the baffles removeable? What if you wrapped a little more batting around them then reinstall. Would quiet them down a bit.

Couldn't you just put quieter baffles in those pipes rather than going with entirely different pipes?

No they are not removable, at least not without causing some significant damage!

I think I found the part number for the 05 Dyna Screamin' Eagle 49 state pipes, which should be the quieter ones, correct?

80366-99, in case anyone's interested.

I guess I am just too old as well. I love the sound of loud pipes on someone elses bike. I put some new V&H slip ons with quiet baffles on my 08 FXDC last week. Rode around town and loved them, sound great. Got out on the weekend for a half day trip and they drove me crazy. They sound great but they are on eBay now!
