FXDF buffeting cure?

Default FXDF buffeting cure?
Hey guys I have a 2008 FXDF with the HD windshield. I have a 2009 SE tach on the riser cap and a windshield bag inside the shield. I have pretty bad buffeting. When I put my hand between the front of the tank and the shield it improves.Has anyone put a fork bag or something in front with good results? Thanks Mike.

Try adjusting the windshield angle. Pretty much a trial & error thing.

I'd like to see a photo of your setup ... I had a windshield/bag, and didn't think the tach would fit with the windshield bag.

There are oodles of posts about buffeting. Searching could yield a cure.

I believe the buffeting issue is more related to the H-D windshields. Look into a different brand if need be. A friend has a Memphis Shades and he has zero issue with buffeting.

Sanlyn. I put the tach on from a 2009 screamin eagle fatbob, tach housing and riser caps are one piece. The bag is a tight fit but still functions ok. You have to fold the flap a little but it works. Mike
