Thanks man. I'm still not entirely sold on it. It's still kind of big even compared to the football. The chrome junkie in me says I need to go buy a chrome cover asap... But there's part of me that's liking the darker look for the contrast. I also painted my battery band black the other day and that's growing on me too.

I put the complete Cross Bones air filter setup on my street bob. Backing plate, air filter (which is a little larger then the dyna filter) and cover. It bolts right up no problems.

Yeah, it's bigger than I'd prefer but it grows on ya. Mine looks tons better since I painted it wrinkle black to match the engine. The gloss black just stood out too much for me but my bike's blue. On yours it looks good to me.

Ya know, I never tried to mount the backing plate on my existing breather bolts. I lined the new ones up and saw they are longer so just assumed I'd need them. Doubt they'd change the fit since the "ears" on the back of the backing plate are still gonna rest on the jugs.

Im wanting to rid myself of the stock A/C thats chrome, and go to a Black Round A/C, As long as its round and black im cool with it..never was a chromeperson anyhow, just something about chrome looks like cheap jewelry to me.
When i get this one in ill post a pic.
