will take with stock gutted mufflers, then with the vance and hines. also, can i run the vance and hines with no baffles? how do those sound compared tot he standard baffles vs quiet baffles? comes with all of them...

also what about the heel hooks, the left side wants to work itself down on me while riding, how do i tighten them?

 

Can't help ya on the heel rest, keep looking at it, take it apart, you'll figure it out.

You can run the Bigshots without baffles, but it will absolutely hurt your performance.

In my opinion V&H quality isn't that great. I've run their Bigshots & Pro-Pipe & the design of their end caps/heat shields just isn't durable. Over time the bolts that hold the end caps on begin to tear thru the heat shields. I won't own V&H again. They may be alright if you don't ride all the time, but I ride all the time & they can't handle high mileage.

 

i thought vance and hines were known for their quality. i just bought some straight shot slip on's. going to call it good with those. now to decide whether i want to run the standard baffles in them, or no baffles in the slip on's
