Fuelpak Settings

Fuelpak Settings
I'm running V&H straightshots, ness air cleaner, and a fuelpak. I originally set the fuelpak for straightshots with no baffles, and forgot to remove the standard baffles because it sounded good. So I ran it this way for a good while, and as an experiment I input the settings for standard baffles yesterday. It smells a little richer now, sounds a little deeper, and I didn't feel any performance change. I did however notice a little change in throttle response. It seems like I have to twist a little more at first, but once I get moving it's business as usual .
I like the sound, the fact that it smells a little richer (might run cooler), and the idea that I'm running the proper settings, but I liked the quicker response with the other settings.
I'm wondering if any of you have messed with these settings at all, and what results you've had. Also, if I go back to the settings for no baffles would I be running too lean? AND, I may be wrong, but shouldn't the settings for no baffle be a richer mixture and the standard baffle a little leaner?

Vance and Hines technical support doesn't release technical information regarding the settings. However, you can call them or email them with your Fuelpak questions. The contact information is in the FuelPak support section of the Vance & Hines website. http://www.fuelpakfi.com/harley1.html
