It looks really nice, it makes me think twice about going black. What front fender are you using

I used a little under a gallon of clear and only a half pint of HOC candy. Got the HOC paint from a local Auto paint store! The sad thing is they only sell the candy in quarts. The skull and lettering are decals and the rest are "Tricks of the Trade".

I just got my paint...using a single stage urethane black. PPG. mixing the flattener myself. 3:1 seems to be where I want the color. I test shot my front fender with the paint and a preval sprayer. Came out really nice. damn smooth. Unfortunately I did not use enough flattener in the little paint I flattened to test things out. So gotta redo the paint with a flatter mix(the 3:1 mix). The preval sprayers come out pretty damn good. Much better than anything I have rattlecaned. The results are good enough to have me forget about getting a gun and air compressor.

Yeah, looks real good! I used to work in a machine shop and my main job was painting presure testers we built in a paint room. Its been a little while but im pretty confident I can do a profesional paint job. I have never done an automotive finish or clear coat but I think I'll give it the old college try.
