Ah mar-glass. Plenty strong enough to hold up to the bikes vibrations? I smoothed the light and plate holes in my fender(welded in plate then little body fill to smooth out the fender), but, now I'm thinking of the side indents as well since seeing your fender. I also lowered the fender mounting holes a bit so it sits a little more low and angled down towards the back, will give the look of the bike lowered about 1/4" lower and the rear of the fender won't stick up and out so much.
By the way you do your paint with a gun and compressor?
I have used "sears compressors for years you don't need a monster to paint with the HVLP guns that are out!You can get a cheap gun at Harbor Freight just clean it out with thinner after every use and it will last.Try it out on the wife's car first then the bike!A little paint goes a long way!
did you use a snake skin pattern? it looks like scales under that red paint...looks awesome man..its people like you that give us confidence to do things ourselves..thanks..
