came out good. You smoothed the the whole indent on the stock fender...wow...did you use filler epoxy for the whole fender?
I only took the paint off in the place's that had to be filled, the rest was sanded with 320 wet. the indent in the fender was first filled with MAR-Glass and the gone over with a grinder (to save time)the a coat of body filler to finish it off.I mig-welded the old plat holes shut and welded a stud in the inside to hold the wires in place.two coats of primer and ready to paint.

Ah mar-glass. Plenty strong enough to hold up to the bikes vibrations? I smoothed the light and plate holes in my fender(welded in plate then little body fill to smooth out the fender), but, now I'm thinking of the side indents as well since seeing your fender. I also lowered the fender mounting holes a bit so it sits a little more low and angled down towards the back, will give the look of the bike lowered about 1/4" lower and the rear of the fender won't stick up and out so much.
By the way you do your paint with a gun and compressor?
