Just a side note, there was a giant swap meet scheduled here in Richmond for today and tommorow.... I just saw it was cancelled due to lack of participation. I'm like, no duh. You can't ask 15 dollars a head as an entry fee and think a bunch of bikers are actually gonna show up and pay that just to look around at stuff!!!

They do the same thing in Charlotte, NC. Attendance and vendors decrease every year I go, and it's a 2x/yr event. I think November '09 admission was $12. You can win door prizes but that doesn't make up for the fact you have to pay entry. It's a large event but hell, I'd find a free place to hold it especially with the way things are nowadays. Plenty of land a few miles up the interstate.
