Suggest a 2 up seat for my 06 Wide Glide for long distance trips
After a 1643 mi trip on my 06 Wide glide I am looking for a seat to do some more long distance trips. Give me some suggestions on what seats or seat cushions you would recomend for this bike. The stock seat was alright for me, but did not cut it for my wife.

Stock seats suck...bad. I couldn't take it....so I got the pillow-look seat for 06 dynas...this was for passenger comfort, and my wife seems to like it quite a bit. Not to mention, it fits the look of the bike, unlike some of the bigger seats, like the sundowner. That seat was really comfortable, but just looked out of place on a wide glide..at least in my opinion.
The I bought the sidekick custom seat for solo rides. It, too, has a passenger section, but it's not gonna be that great for two-up riding. At the same time, this seat is more comfortable to me, especially since it lowers me to the ground a bit, and sets me back an inch or two. Plus, it looks killer on a wide glide.
Hope this helps.

More power,
I purchased the Mustang Vintage Solo and wide pillion about a month ago for the Bob. I got the standard solo and the wider pillion so it would be a little more comfortable for her and give a little more support. We love the seat, the padding is firm and comfortable and the driver back support is great with the two up configuration. Also the pillion does not seem to slant back, so the wife does not feel like she is sliding off the back. I also like the fact that I can go back to the solo configuration quickly. I know it's not a wide glide, but I thought I would throw you some pic's. Also it is much more affordable than the Corbin.
