Be cognizant of the issues that more than a few '06s have had: The IPB bearing and 'screwy' stator.

Mike, thanks for the offer, but I do already have the passenger mounts and pegs (got someone else's take offs).

Archer, thanks for the heads up on the issues. As mentioned I had lurked on this site for a while and was aware of the issues and will keep an eye out for them. Nice to know people are looking out for me though....thanks.

Congrats!! You can make a folder in your subscriptions list so whatever thread you start or want to keep move them to a different folder so you can clean out the ones you don't want to keep. Good way to track also!! Keep us posted with progress!!

Ok, I have got the passenger pegs on and after much work the 10" westcoast tbars with performance machine renthal grips. For some reason all my photos are now saying invalid file type. Not sure why as they are in the same photo bucket file as the photos I have posted already, once I get it sorted out I will post some more pics.

I absolutely love the feel of the bike with these bars. At 6' I find that the combo of the C&C Fastback seat and 10" tbars the perfect fit. Hands sit a bit below the shoulders with just enough room for some bend in the elbows, the perfect balance of aggressive and comfortable!

I have a Ness fairing waiting to be mounted and just need the signal relocation kit to mount it. Also have a three inch tank lift kit ready to install, but am starting to think the 3inches may be two much and wishing I had gone for a two inch. Oh well, should be easy enough to change down the road if Im not happy.

....to be continued....

Kinda got it figured out.

Default next round of mods

OK, so I have now got my Ness fairing mounted, signal lights moved and smoked covers, and the throw over saddle bags on.

Sorry for the crappy pics, but its snowing out.
