I absolutely love your bike. Great ideas man. I may aspire to do the same in the future.

BTW, I don't know if I overlooked it, but where did you get it and cost? Is it just a repro FL fender?

Those Shovel bags sure look good on your bike.

Default Photos of the color

Got a couple of photos this morning from the Powder Pro ...

I'm pretty stoked ....

* * *

greenstreetbob - It is a repro FL fender ... from Custom Chrome catalog P/N 13186 ... my records show I gave 87.30 for it from Discount Cycle ... here's a link to Dennis Kirk, where it sells for $104.99 ... http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/produc...fCatId=&mmyId=

The front section of the fender has to be reworked to fit a modern Dyna frame and spacers are necessary, as the fender is about 5/8" narrower than the struts ....

Looks like everything is coming together nicely Chop. Joe seems to do some kick **** work and it looks like he picked a nice color for you!!! Can't wait to see some more of the progress.

Joe, how do you keep the powdercoat from interfering with the hinge on the fender?

it is welded up so that will not matter on tis... but on other items with hinges we just coat it... powder will not stop it from moving after you break it loose it will be fine

From the photos almost seems to have something of a "Pewter" look to it ... the color 'swatch' I found seemed to look a lot closer to my original color ....

Still, I really like what I am seeing so far ...!
