On going problems with 06 Dyna

RE: On going problems with 06 Dyna
Well I should pick up my 07 tomorrow.
They changed the price on me though, they now
want $1,474.00 instead of the $550.00 reason being
that the saleman forgot to put the freight, taxes, dealer prep,
document fees into the price quote. I had asked if all that
was included and he said yes at the time to be 100% certain
that the $550.00 included everything. I even had him write it down,
but not on a formal bill of sale. He is young and maybe new at the job
and I did not want to argue the point plus it is still a fair deal in my opinion
The dealer is there to make money not a charity org.. Like they said
thay actually did not have to do anything for me. All I know
is that I will be happy to dump my 06 it is getting so bad that
I have stopped riding it because it might let me down. It is missing, shutting
down when I go to start out and getting harder to start.
I just wish the 06 could have been fixed then I would never had traded it in.
But I am so frustrated with it I just wnat to get rid of the POS.
Sometimes this Harley thing gets to be a pain in the butt.
But I am sure I will happy whe I get my new ride and am back on the road
pouring more $ into acessories etc.
And all in all I am happy with my Dealer, they are caught in the middle of the deal too
it is them that will eat any cost not HD.

RE: On going problems with 06 Dyna
I would take the 07 for sure.
I love my 06 Superglide, but there appears to be a number of problems with the 06's.
If you pay the little extra to upgrade you'll gain torque, horsepower, an extra 3 mpg on $4/gallon fuel.
You will get rid of your surging problem, and all those nasty transmission problems you apparently haven't started to experience, yet.
You also might get to ride your HD that you probably have waited your whole life to ride, to ride, to ride is the idea.
Some days I really miss my old Honda V30, but it weren't no Harley.
