I was able to shoehorn everything into the headlight bucket.

Lens is starting to fog a bit, but it's been a good 20k+ miles since I installed it.

What brand HID lights did you get and how big is your headlamp bucket?

It was so long ago, it's a 5 3/4" visored bucket that's about 8" long and I got the kit from xenonlink.com. And when I say shoehorned, I mean SHOEHORNED! I had to try the ballast and ignitor in MANY different positions. It took me at least an hour to get everything situated.

I wouldn't even consider HID if I couldn't cram it all into the headlight bucket. Also to consider is usually you forfit your high/low beam function. I've considered a headlight upgrade myself but I like the little factory bucket so HID is out. I'm gonna go high wattage halogen.

These guys say their kit has a small balast and it all fits in the factory housing. They give you 2 complete kits. I haven't tried them myself yet but plan to in the near future.

Nice, hadn't seen those but looked at others. Guy at work has some similar on his Victory. Same deal, made for autos, he has 2. He has a much deeper headlight though. When I'm ready I'll take the thing apart and see how much room I've actually got.

You can put them under the dash. It's a bitch to get everything to sit right but it can be done
