Default Help/thoughts: Changing Fat Bob headlight

Hey guys,

New to this forum but found some great advice so far. I want to change my 2009 Fat Bob headlights and replace them with a light similar to the Fat Boy headlight. Can this be done with the twin headlight mount? My dealer said it could be done with a lot of mod's and quoted $400 just for parts... I think I could probably do it cheaper.

Any thoughts/help would be appreciated.

Fatboy Headlight is on mine... It happen to come off a 2002Fatboy and It came with the original mounting block for that headlight as well as the 3inch ring instead of the 1inch which I thought turned out nice... Anyway I paid 40bucks shipped on ebay but you can usually expect to pay between 40-75 for a used one on ebay... There is a pick in my sig.. also If you can help it try to get part of the wiring harness with is so you just cut and splice... hope this helps

yep, cheap to do......get one with a mounting block because the stock fat bob block won't work.

I just ordered a Doss Custom 7" for my bike for around $90.00 shipped. The OEM Fat Boy Headlight from the Dealer is about $300.00 plus dollars. Highway robbery.
