Home-made hi-way pegs
The wife wants me to re-do her hi-way pegs for a more optimum position; so I get a piece of 2"X1/2" aluminum bar stock to work with...then I see a pair of cast stainless bear trap MX pegs at the Honda shop; regular $92; for me (they've been on the shelf for a couple of years) a $20 bill and I'm out the door...a little cutting, grinding and some paint and we'll see what we have...

Just another idea for the inseam challenged. Attach OEM highway pegs with only the bottom fastener, rotate the pegs back towards the rider until comfortable or the end of the plate and mark the plate. Drill a hole and do the same for the other side. Fill the original top hole with an acorn nut.

As anyone who's seen the crazy brackets I make will know, I love this home made stuff. Custom made items a lot cheaper than aftermarket accesssories from a shop - works for me every time. Brilliant idea, it's started the seed of an idea as to how I can make my own h/way pegs! Now where's my ally plate?
