Baffled!!!
I have a 2007 dyna low rider with cycle shack exhaust. I got the bike used and the previous owner took out the exhaust baffles. The bike runs great and sounds great too. A few of my friends who ride told me I need baffles to create back pressure. Without the baffles the bike runs too lean and I can burn the exhaust valves. Wouldnt the fuel injection correct the lean fuel mixture? I would like to leave the bike alone cause I like it the way it is, but I don't want to ruin it either. What should I do?

Do the pipes get red hot around the heads? These bikes run lean from the factory and the ECU should correct the closed loop AFR back to the factory specified lean condition. If you ride all the time at more than 50% throttle (open loop), you could have a worry.
You can put torque cones or BCTs in the exhaust to create a bit of back pressure and help improve torque if you are worried. I don't think they affect the sound much.
