Default Rain Sock?

Hey guys, Ive got a stage 1 SE breather, and I made a new AC cover for it leaving the element half exposed. I plan on doing some longer trips do you guys think itd be a good idea to get a rain sock to put over the AC and then put my cover over it?

I carry one with me for my Heavy Breather and have used it a few times. Dont worry to much about a little rain but put it on if got a long ride in heavy rain.

I picked up one just in case ... living in Oregon you can always expect rain.

I have one for my AN BS but haven't used it yet! It sits in my saddlebag waiting for a rainy day. Apparantly they will cut the amount of air flow,so I only want it on if I really need it.

Do yourself a favor and get a K and N filter first. Much better and will last forever. Those S/E filters are known to go to chit real quick. If you plan on riding in the rain get a sock, if not don't worry about it.

Where can you get a rain sock for that type of filter? I don't think I've ever seen one before.

Well , that was not what I meant. LOL. All I know is I put a plastic bag on my filter when I wash it. The few times I have ridden in the rain (unplanned) everything was fine, but that is out SoCal rain.
