Cool Alloy Art Signals out of the classified section - pix

Another quick and easy mod plus a great find.
I tend to get busted when on HDF at home since I sit and get into the zone and dont pay attention to anything else.................

Like this........gotta love a prankster with a camera.

But once and a while it works out with a good find and this time was just that.
Picked up some used AA turn sigs that would keep me CA legal but be closer to how I like the back end looking without signals hanging out there.

So, here we go with the before pix and yes I know my bike is filthy

Already had pulled the standoffs but still wasn't narrow enough for me.
So I took the AA signals apart and busted out the rattle cans

Had to take the Makita to the strut in order to clearance it for the wiring........its tight.

From there it was a quick rewire of the lamps, putting them back together and mounting them to the bike.........and in the sun the blacks are the same.......flash made it kinda weird but its looking good.

Quick wash and dry and it was time to go make some noise..........

There ya have it
Easy in and out of the house 6 beer mod and cheapy cheap

Nice scoot! I might be down your way sometime in the near future, if the weather stays realitively clear!

Bay Area! Probably during the week, considering that I'm unemployed and need to be local for the weekends.

I put a set of those on my scoot two years ago. I left them chrome. The the only thing I'm told by people riding behind me in the bright day light. They can't see the signal when I put it on to make a turn. We don't need signals here in Illinois any way, so I use hand signals just to be safe. At night, no problem seeing the signals.

Looks good man. Sure solves the "signal relocate" issue if/when mounting saddlebags.

Yeah, day time they get washed out in the sun light but lots of guys I always point if there are cars close by.

Thanks, Vic. I thought the exact same thing

The red signals are a lot easier to see than the orange. Good job.
