Well the wife is finally coming around to the idea of heading out on rides with me. (no she doenst want to get her own bike) So I have a HD 2 up seat & med back rest with foot pegs. Thinking of changing out to floorboards for her.



So those of you who ride 2 up what ideas & changes have you made to make a better ride ?

i bought the touring seat for my bike and i have a sissy bar that go's mid way up her back she just sits back and relax's she has yet to ride on this seat because of the weather but im sure she will like it.

 

def the seat, my grl hates the stocker so im saving for a mustang.

 

dont get a cushy seat that looks like crap get her an airhawk pillow and you can stick it in the bags when she not sittin on it

 

Yea I've got a big a$$ ugly 2 up seat for the long trips and a badlander for the short ones. I put a backrest that I had made out of square stock with a pad on it and just the stock pegs. She's a good girl who loves bikes almost as much as me and she doesn't complain much. We rode the tail of the dragon together and she had a blast. Good luck with your setup.

 

Get her out on some short rides first and make sure she is wanting to go on longer ones before you start shelling out a bunch of $$$$.

 

Ditch the sissy bar! For what the bike costs, you should get to enjoy the ***** pressed on your back!

Seriously though, I have to agree with the last post about taking lots of short rides first to see that she is/can be comfortable.
