Jesus, I just want to punch a kitten every time someone says "old school". NOTHING you have shown of that bike looks old, is old, or is even Inspired by something old. I have no doubt the bike will look nice when complete, but quit pretending it's something it's not. What do you plan on "guarding" the engine from anyway? Deer??

agree... Although if you got too much leg to run mids comfortably...forwards are the way to go.

True, If I was much taller I'd have to run them for sure but the times I've tried to ride on forwards its felt funny. Probably because I get up on a dirt bike and mids just feel natural after all these years...........and isn't that what highway pegs are for
