TC 96 - how much hp?

RE: TC 96 - how much hp?
Harley never posts its hp figures, just torque. From what I understand it will have about 90-92 ft/lbs of torque.
The horsepower figures I've read in Motorcycle Comsumer News, Cycle World and others usually give a stock twincam 88 about 62-65 hp. I'm guessing the 96 puts out maybe 70-72 hp.

Damn, and I'm bustin' my wallet to eek high 80's HP and TQ from my 98 Dyno-saur Wide Glide! Oh well, I've always had "old school" leanings. Things that are "brand new" just never appeal to me.

To paraphrase a Master Card ad:
Ultra Classic: $20,000
95" Big Bore Stage II: $1500
Watching all the folks on BRAND NEW "upgraded" 96" engines fall behind you: Priceless

my bike was dynoed showing 80 hp but big deal... who cares... I JUST want to have the abiltiy to pull away
from the ****** who tailgates me from time to time
on another note my buddy has a victory with the 100 cubic inches and he likes to rub that in
my answer to him is nobody mistakes my bike for a "metric or jap bike " [sm=icon_sneaky.gif]
