I believe they were the 2.5" - they were only a little larger that the pipes.

Say Vic, in the video the SEs sounded deeper and throatier but not a whole lot louder than stock? It's hard to tell but that's how it sounded to me.

They sound much better than that prepubescent stock muffler. The SEII's are not obnoxious. They make your bike sound the way it should.

Sorry - That comment was about the Cycle shack slip on's that I replaced with the SE II mufflers, and which I am quite happy with. The SE II's are the same as the ones shown previously in this thread.

No doubt the old ones sounded better. BTW, were they tunable?

How do you mean tuneable? They only had a baffle that was screwed in. There was no discs, like Supertrapp exhaust.

OK, I thought someone told me they were made by Supertrapp. So here's a dumb question. So long as the baffle's removable, can the sound and performance be altered significantly by changing or altering it? I'm sure the sound can be. Would that apply to both older and newer SEIIs equally?
