Well, as my other posts have suggested I have been trying to decide on a first bike. A 1200C, StreetBob or a WG. Well today finally, I saw an 07' in the dealership. Now I have made up my mind. It's the Bob . . .
Now comes the hardest part, deciding how much to put down on the thing ( I'm not rich enough to purchase outright ), and the color. I love these forums.

 

Congratulations!! I envy you at this time. Of course it is always fun to shop for new toys. I have 4800 miles on mine and I love it. Of course be ready to break out the wallet, you will always want the goodies. Man I sure love that olive green and black........for now I will keep dreamin. This forum is a great place. There are a lot of guys with a great deal of knowledge in here.

I haven't seen any new denim colors, but I was not impressed by the new black and olive paint scheme I saw last weekend on the '07 Bob at my stealer. I liked the olive paint scheme they had as a special edition color for the 2003 Heritage Springer better. More old school, like the black denim.

Could always join the black denim club like all of us '06 riders.

Excellent choice...you'll love it! I got the deep cobalt but I'm getting ready to do some custom paint therapy (still going with deep blue colors)

 

Good choice Booger. Considering that now the Bob has the 96 cu in engine paired with the 6 Speed tranny, I probably would've have made the same choice. It's not that much more than a 1200c. The Bob wasn't around when I bought my 1200c or I might have done the same thing.....

If ya can swing 20%, put that amount down. That will usually give you a favorable loan to value. And try an outside source for the loan. Dealers will do the participation thing, where the rate they got from the lending company is actually marked up and split w/the lender.

I am part of the black denim crowd, but like the cherry and gloss black too.

 

I was wondering about that olive green color but haven't seen it in person. Is that a color combo most would either love or hate? Looks kinda cool to me on the HD website but then again I'm an outdoorsman and have always loved Coleman green

 

Congrats, I'ver ridden a couple of Bob's and loved them , with the 96" it should be a blast . I think vivid black is the best color

On the color...The Olive Pearl/Vivid Black & the Pacific Blue Denim do not seem like colors that work well on this style of bike. Every other color looks real good though. I'm sure there are fans of the Olive & Blue Denim, just as there are fans of Lance Bass.
