Default Black Contrast Cut Wheels

Has anyone had any Black Contrast Cut wheels from any of the different companies for an extended period of time? Im asking because i was wondering whether or not over time the machined aluminum that is the "contrast cut" will discolor and dull since it is bare and not chrome? to be specific i was eying the Xtreme Machine Black Cut Stilleto wheels.

http://www.xtrememachineusa.com/WHEE...2012-7-09.html

above is the link to the style contrast cut wheel i was interested in, the Stilleto wheel. Here's what i know, the wheels are powdercoated then grinded down on the edges to expose the "contrast cut." My fear is that since the exposed areas are bare aluminum that theyll over a short period of time begin to dull, and i dont wanna take a dremel to them everytime they do. If anyone out their has these contrast cut style of wheels and has any input please do cause i love this style wheel and wanna hear good things about them but am discouraged with bare aluminum and no finish. thanks

As long as you clean and polish it should be fine. Thats what I have to do the the Fatbob wheels. Or you can get some brass wheels at http://brassballsbobbers.com.

For what it's worth, I have contrast cut wheels on my truck. I've had them on there for almost 3 years and they still look great.

I had BMF contrast cut wheels on my Super Duty. They stayed looking great through 2 winters.

I don't have contrast cut wheels, but I do have contrast cut foot pegs and have had no issues with them.

Thats what I've been wondering also. I have the HD typhoon wheels with the exposed aluminum. I have been watching them over the past year and they still look new. I plan to break out a can of Never-Dull and hit the raw aluminum this weekend, unless the weather is right for a ride!
