I'm pretty suprised more people don't do it. Or that theres not a readily availible system on the market. I would have snatched one up in a second as opposed to just my wide glide conversion.

Few years ago I wanted to put this kine Headlight on the narrow frontend but gave up.I think the only way is to go with the wideglide,anyone seen it on a narrow frontend?

I have been intrested in this mod for awhile but the rear fender been holding me back.
I found this a few days ago in the V-Twin Manufacturing catalog.
I think it might be my next winters project.

The 1950's Sportsters had a set of tins like the Heritage and Fat Boys sport but for a narrow glide front end ... the speedometer fit into a gauge mount built into it that I believe was atop or just aft of the risers ... if I'm not mistaken, the fork tubes sported fork gators (rubber boots) ....

See attached ... there are a couple of sources where reproduction tins can be had ....

It's not quite the same thing, but is similar ... kind of conveys the same idea ....
