The answer is yes, there are a number of threads showing exactly what on the triple tree needs to be ground down, and how far. I am on a cell phone so I can't post links, but search FL Dyna, and FL Front End in the Dyna section and you will find the posts with all the pictures. I even have a long post about getting a Springer on a Dyna neck.

Near the top of this page is a blue bar. Click "Quick Links". Click "Social Groups". Click "FL-Dyna".
I have some pics in My Photo Album if you're interested in seeing an '07 Street Bob being converted. That project is still unfinished but there are several pics of different bags on it.
Here's the link that got me started. Probably one on the best.

I have a rigid bobber which I hope to follow the pre or duo glide. I am ready for some like ideas.

Default FLST Forks on 2003 Deuce

I did the front end swap on a 2003 Deuce with a kit called the "Fat Kid". I got it from JP Cycles. The issue I ran in to was when I ground out the fork stop the forks hit the tank. I had to weld in a small chunk of steel stock to stop this. Maybe this is because the tank is wider on a Deuce? The OEM keylock also no longer works because there is no slot in the triple tree.

Only if they are 2014 FL forks. 2014 is the first year of 49mm FL forks.
