I looked at one today, they finally got one on the floor. It's a nice bike and now there will be off the shelf parts to swap onto the older bikes. Only draw back if you want to call it that is the nacelle is the only option for headlight dressing. The bags are nice too and will be in my future plans. I'm not sure where people were getting the idea they are too small, they are smaller than the baggers but not by much and the compliment the bike nicely.

You couldn't just pull the nacelle off and mount a regular headlight with mounting block and bolt? We need some diagrams, or someone who bought an FLD to get some good pictures of the front end and see how they did things.

It doesn't look like there are provisions for a regular headlight.

Hey Rick,

I noticed from images that the rear mounting brackets bolt up at mid ctrl mounting tabs but are streched forward compared to FXDP mounting brackets. Floorboards seem to be the softail type (narrow fixing points) and not the FXDP type.

I'm anxious to see how MoCo mounted them in combination with shifter and brake....would like to see some close up pics of the floorboard set-up...If you got or can get any: please post them!

Rene, I did not get pictures of the floor boards but I'll sneak back by and take some. It might not be until Saturday before I get back over there.
