Road 6 customs 12" powdercoated. I was afraid the 12's weren't going to be tall enough but I really like the look and feel. I had 14" apes on it before but didn't like the feel plus it had all of the cables stretched to the max.

Get the sliders powder coated. Do the trees, levers, and turn sigs.

I just finished putting everything together on mine. Took a good day, but its done.. except for the bars. I have 14" R6 Z bars coming in monday.

The Kodlin Bananza bars had a recall so I pulled them, and removed my levers to have them powder coated. Since I was already disconnecting the wires to pull the bars, i pulled my tree off to have powder coated. Since I was pulling my tree, that meant I could finally install my progressive lowering kit. Since i was tearing down the forks.. I went ahead and had them powder coated. LMAO!

I also removed the front blinkers, disassembled the housings, powder coated them, and relocated them to the rear lower shock mounts, and removed the stock rear blinkers from the struts. Cleaned the fender up nicely!
My point is... if/when you decide to run the wires internally (if theyre not already) go ahead get it all done then!

Oh yeah.. and since i was pulling the front wheel off anyways... i went ahead and order a 21x3.25 rim to have laced to the stock hub! lol

Bike looks good!

Great looking bike. Don't worry what others think, it's not their bike. If you love your ride, nothing else matters.

I like it.Did the fender come chopped like that in 08 or did you do it yourself? In any case it looks good.I also like the pipes they look like the stock headers with the heat shields painted black and some turn out slip-ons. It looks good and probably didn't cost $700 which makes it even cooler in my book.
