you need a seat made for a wide glide or you could get a longer seat tab from the dealer so you can use that seat

I am sending back this seat, and they are gonna make me a seat for the wide glide fender... Wish I would have been thinking before I ordered it.... had the thought in my head before I called, then It slipped my mind when I was talking with them. But they are gonna take care of it, I will just be out a few more dollars for shipping it back, and shipping the new seat...

Did any of yall spring for the gel insert? If I'm replacing my seat for comfort I may as well go all out, but I wonder if the gel insert is worth an additional $85 over the regular version.
