Few weeks ago I took the advice of many here and got the HF table lift with the Haul-master Wheel Chock to replace the one that comes on the lift. I wasn't overly happy with the instability of the wheel chock on a skinny Dyna tire. Straps were not only helpful, but NEEDED. Not too big a deal considering the chock was 30 bucks or so on sale.
J&S has a wheel chock as well, and they sell a skinny tire adapter kit for theirs. 20 bucks, what the hell. I ordered the adapters.
Finally installed them. Drilled a hole in the top "band" of the pivot section of the chock. One on each side, install adapters, test, PERFECT. The bike does not lean at all, even pulling the bike towards you it doens't hit that "fall over" point that the standard HF chock has.
J&S sells the adapters in a 4 pack, I only needed the two. Some pics are below.
