My FLDL project
Well I got the fatboy frontend done and now I want to start on the rear fender. I have a rear fender from a 2004 heritage that I want to use, what I have done so far is to lay the fender on its side and traced it onto a piece of sheet metal and marked the holes on the fender with blue sharpie and set it beside my fender to see how it will line up, and I wanted to get your guys opinion on how it looks.

Um, the front end is black and nearly everything else on the bike is chrome. Are you going to fix that? The fender silhouette looks great from here. You could remove the nacelle, leave the cowbells, and swap for a smaller headlight. It makes for a real cool look also. It's not for everyone I guess, I think it rocks.

Another FLDL!!??
That's pretty cool, haven't seen another. I'm new to this forum, so could be many others. I got started on my FatRider project a couple weeks ago after a year of picking up parts, and finding the time. Looks good, I should be on the road in a month or so. I'm going without the shroud, and the 7 in. headlight. Got that all mocked up, just got some more grinding to go to suss out the fork stops. I'm also running led's in the dash for the indicators. It's all coming together, but trying to free up time from work, and getting over to the shop has been proving difficult. It will be done when the snow melts.
