Default Horn RE Re-location

Ive had my rear fender off for paint since i started my mods, and when i went to put it back on, there was a hitch, the bracket i made for the horn was in the way, so i grabbed some steel and Re re-located it. Looking at this new bracket, I wish i would have done it this way to start off...I guess thats my slice of humble pie for the day

That's a good idea, I'm sure you have a cleaner looking motor from the left side. were the wires long enough?

Looks good! I just relocated mine too. I bought a new, louder horn from the auto parts store, extended the wires and mounted it behind my FXDXT fairing. It looks MUCH better without the cowbell IMO.

I think so too, the wires were long enough i just had to separate them from the rest of the wires and pull them through the other side. heres a pic of the motor w/o the cowbell

Did you cut that black bracket that holds the cowbell off?

Great idea. Does look alot better. You gotta love mods that improve the bike and don't really cost tons of money.

I've been thinking about relocating mine to the front, just under the neck.
