Default Arlenn Ness Narrow Glide Fairing

Okay...I have a 2007 Street Bob and I just bought myself a Arlen Ness narrow glide fairing. What's the best way to mount this thing? The fairing came with a bracket that is supposed to fit around the fork tubes, but it doesn't fit. I have a turn signal relocater kit that I can mount to the tubes and then drill a hole into the fairing to secure it. What do you all suggest?

If you have an 07 you need the wideglide fairing. It works better on the new 06 and up 49mm front ends. But yeah, you can use the turn signal clamps to mount it. I use HD quick detach clamps to mount them. But the TS clamps will work fine.

I used a set of kuryaken turn signal relocation brackets. I've been getting a lot of questions about the fairing so I made a pic. of how I mounted it. Hope this helps.

Very nice, I like the idea of quick disconnects. Saint, did you use 2 clamps or 4.

Saint...I originally bought the Wideglide fairing and didn't like the look of the damn thing. It's almost too big.

Sickwithit...Thanks for the visual aide man. That helps a lot.

Thanks for the mounting heads up. What sort of protection from the wind and rain does it offer? I'm hoping for something that will take the blast off my chest and face, or at least most of it. They're a beauty fairing, no doubt.
