Dyna pipes.. remove catalytic converter?
I just got some stock pipes for my 97 FXDL As I was squinting at the pic I noticed the stock number..
It seems these pipes are for California, and have a cat inside!!
Can I take these out?? The guy (eBay) assured me they would fit.. but I didn't know about the cat at that point.
It was a good deal too... take offs from new and boxed away for 13 years.. 40 bucks shipped..
Anyway.. if anyone has come across this before, please let me know what I'm in for!
Thanks guys.

Cats
I'm in California and Yup...the cats are in there. Here's something cool to do with your muffler... If you put one end up to your ear and have someone blow into the other end you can hear the ocean!
This may, however, lead to a black ear.
All kidding aside, I think it's gonna be a bitch to do anything with them...my stock pipes are in a box....keeping them in case these mental cases out here pass the smog legislation they've been crying for...
For all you guys living somewhere else... California isn't what it used to be.
There are threads on this forum where some members talk about taking the stockers off and drilling holes into the core... I never paid much attention to it... just seemed too Neanderthal. Good luck.
