Like the others, I always have it on a tender when parked in the garage.

I have the two bank tender, made by the same company. One side for the street bob and the other for the UTV. Great product, works great, a must have.

i don't start plugging mine in until i stop riding for the season.

bike is started up almost daily through the spring and summer and into the fall, so i've never seen a need to plug it in.

no problems so far

Bought mine at wal mart and it works great. I use it all the time. My buddy bought his bike back in 2007 on the same day and he never used a charger/tender and he just spent 160.00 at the local dealer for a new battery. I give him a hard time about it. I spent 20.00 for the tender. I would say it was a good investment. Make sure you get one that cycles because the real cheap ones that just slowley charges can overcharge the battery and lead to premature failure. A dead battery when your out and about is a bitch to deal with, especially when there isn't a store open that carries moto batteries. Good luck finding one at autozone late at night. Check out walmart first. Save your money. Harbor freight is another good place to find cheap stuff that works. I just don't buy my tools from there. Good luck.

I have three tenders, all different brands, the oldest probably 15 years old if not more. With several bikes they are all plugged in over winter, but during the riding season the one I am using most often is not plugged in.

Some of the more expensive brands of tender claim to be able to recover a dead battery, which I have my doubts about, having tried to do that a couple of times in recent years. Seems to me that when modern batteries turn their toes up they are more dead than batteries used to get when I started riding!
